WHITE HOUSE ACADEMY Board of Directors
All Board members serve as volunteers, and receive no benefits or advantages from WHA,
either for themselves or their family members, other than the joy of seeing the fruits of their labors.
Annaliese White - Board President, parent
Annaliese is a former homeschooling mother of over 20 years. She has a Bachelors Degree in English, Technical Writing and Literature, from Brigham Young University. She has served as a member of the Uintah Arts Council, Uintah Basin Orchestra and Chorus, and currently serves as a member of the Uintah County Republican Committee.
Stephanie Hardin - Board Secretary, Treasurer, parent
Stephanie has a Bachelors degree in Business Management from Idaho State University. Stephanie home schooled her children for twelve years, and she has taught piano and Let’s Play Music for the past five years. She has background and experience in business and accounting. At WHA, she also serves as the Vice-Principal. She “loves seeing children happy and peaceful.”
Lisa Henderson - Board Director
Lisa and her husband are residents of Vernal, UT. They are the owners of a successful hotel chain throughout the region. They have 5 children and 16 grandchildren. She attended Arizona State, BYU, and USU where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. She has over 20 years of experience teaching in public schools. At WHA, she loves “The spirit of revelation that enlightens little minds and touches all hearts with truth and light.”
Stephen Sandau - Board Director
Stephen owns and operates Intermountain Paleo-Consulting in Vernal, UT. Stephen served an LDS mission to San Diego California, Vietnamese speaking. He has a Masters Degree in Geology, with an emphasis in paleontology, from Brigham Young University, where he also taught science labs. He has an Associates Degree in Music, and has served with the Uintah Basin Orchestra and Choir. He and his wife have 4 children and 1 grandchild.
Mylinda Stone - Board Director
Mylinda is a home-school mother of 12, and resides in Stafford, Virginia. She received a Bachelors Degree in Communications from Utah State University. She is certified in Medical Assisting and Nurse Assisting. She is a community organizer, and recently was a member of the Stafford School District Home-schooling Outreach program. Mylinda brings her experience and distanced perspective to the decision body of WHA.
Michael Durrant - Board Director, parent
Michael is an entrepreneur and owner of several business, including Automated Business Equipment, Copy Stop, and C and L Laundromat. He served in the California, Arcadia mission, and attended Brigham Young University. He and his wife have 5 children. He served as president of the Vernal Lions Club, and currently serves as a merit-badge counselor of Personal Management for the Boy Scouts of America.
Don S. Redd - Board Director
Don is recently retired from his law practice of 40 years in Layton, UT. He was also the Davis County Attorney. He has a Juris Doctorate Degree from Brigham Young University School of Law. He is a retired Colonel in the United States Army Reserve. He served as a member of the Farmington City Council, was president of the Layton Kiwanis club, and president of the Farmington Recreation District. He served in the New England States Mission, and is currently serving in the Australia, Brisbane mission with his wife, Karen. They are the parents of 15 children.
